In this story we see a cognitive dissonance. In which the fox holds two ideas inside of one mind as it is hard to obtain decides not to obtain it at all. This is similar today to the Communist Chinese party. As they are a single party. In which have so longed to obtain what the US and free world has of international clout where the world looks up to them because their people are so free and so very civily set. However, much like the Fox the Communist are not willing to try and come to a middle ground or even use anothers mind to find a proper way to obtain the grapes. Where as another morale of the story is that the Fox did not seek help, thus was not able to obtain what it wanted. In the US and other free world Democracies we see a buddy system. In which if one party has a cognitive dissonance of an idea of how their people would like to be governed instead of just saying oh well we can't obtain the whole populaces thoughts on the matter so we will just not obtain them at all. The US uses a competitive debateable system to properly forensic out between two cognitive disssonaces. Which in turn allows public policy to take some time and have the most possible and spread out allowance of ideas for the best governance. So we see, that the Fox did not come to a measure of resolution as they it could not figure out the proper way to obtain its wishes. While thus not seeking a buddy to help figure it out, therefore, causing injustice to the Fox's belly, as it was not able to obtain what it wanted. We see these detrements in Communist China today, where people want to be able to distain from certain elitiest leaders but the government can't figure a way to allow them to state their free opinions on specific leaders without imprisoning them, and again with economics. Many citizens do not like the idea of massive SOE's that take away their and others market shares, yet the Communist party can't seem to find a way to balance their cognitive dissonance of wishing for economic freedom yet wishing for international clout.
